Turchin Center Announces Winners of the 24th Rosen Outdoor Sculpture Competition
The Turchin Center for the Visual Arts and An Appalachian Summer Festival are pleased to announce the winners of the 24th Rosen Outdoor Sculpture Competition & Exhibition. Their works will be installed on the Appalachian State University campus April 16 and 17, and the public is invited to participate in related celebration events.

2009 Season Wrap-up
Three sellouts and a total festival attendance of 26,000 people are just a couple of the highlights of the 2009 season. The Festival would also like to extend thanks to all of the people, businesses and organizations that helped us in 2009.

Halpert Biennial '09 Winners Announced
On behalf of the Turchin Center for the Visual Arts, An Appalachian Summer Festival and Halpert Biennial '09 juror Jeffrey Gove, we congratulate Craig Fisher from Toledo, OH; Jeremiah Ariaz from Baton Rouge, LA; and Ivan Fortushniak from Indiana, PA.
Rosen Outdoor Sculpture Competition & Exhibition partners with the Downtown Boone Development Association (DBDA) Public Art Program
Partnership to offer two additional sculptors a chance to participant in the Rosen program with the Community Choice Award.
